Banana Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies
1/2 c. mashed ripe banana (1 medium banana)
3/4 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. butter, softened
1/4 c sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 lg egg
1 1/4 c. all purpose flour
2 c. old fashioned oats
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 c. chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350
Combine first 5 ingredients in a large bowl & beat with mixer
Add egg, beat again
Add in flour, oats, baking soda & salt; beat with mixer until well blended
Add chocolate chips & mix together
Drop batter by large tablespoonfuls onto baking sheet that has been sprayed with Pam
Bake until slightly golden on top
Should make 24-30 cookies
Recipe from Cooking Light magazine...with a few minor "tweaks".
Weight watchers points = 2 to 2.5 depending on how large the cookies
